Hmmm. Every story came from the NCA today, so I'll add one game from each of the ML and RL.

14 May 2298 - Assaultrons End Go's Streak

The Easy Town Assaultrons pitching staff did its job today, holding hot-hitting Millioncap Go hitless in 4 at-bats during the club's 6-1 victory over the The Slog Ghouls at Easy Town Field. The disappointing performance ended a 23-game hitting streak for the center fielder.

"I'm a little down right now," Go said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too."

In his season totals, Go has 1 home run, .389 BA, .416 OBP, 14 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has played in 29 games.

14 May 2298 - Greenzone Hits 2 home runs in Adamantium Win

Po Greenzone made an impact in the 9-6 Abernathy win over Starlight. Greenzone, who is on pace to hit 34 home runs this season, went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Jame Functionary notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. With the victory, the Adamantium upped their record to 19-10.

Greenzone had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 fastball from John Walden, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Adamantium a 9-6 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Greenzone.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Greenzone.

14 May 2298 - Noggin Slugs Bloodbugs to 8-3 Win

The County Crossing Bloodbugs topped the Salem Witch Hats by a score of 8-3. Leading the way was first baseman Josh Noggin. Noggin went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Bloodbugs. County Crossing starter Jeff Rickashaw was credited with the win after throwing 139 pitches over 9 innings. His record now stands at 3-4. With the win, the Bloodbugs have a record of 12-17.

Noggin contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for County Crossing in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Noggin took a cutter from Mike Cartrette and stroked the home run to left. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Bloodbugs to leap in front, 5-2.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Noggin. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

14 May 2298 - Chemists Earn 6-5 Win Versus Radstags

The Sunshine Tidings Chemists downed the Concord Radstags, 6-5, at Nuka Park. The Chemists were led by Amari Nukes. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Accident John came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 2-2. With the win, Sunshine Tidings raised its record to 15-14.

The outcome might have been different for Sunshine Tidings, had it not been for Brightsun Ramos, the 19-year old right fielder . Ramos stroked a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to put Sunshine Tidings up, 6-5. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Cozy Burmaster.

14 May 2298 - Synths Win Streak Reaches 6

The Lexington Synths picked up a win at Super Duper Mart Stadium, knocking off the Fort Hagen Silver Shroud, 5-2. Starting pitcher Pete Pembroke was a big reason why. The 4th-place Synths have won 6 in a row.

Justin Daros, the Lexington third baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 1-0, Synths. For the game, Daros went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We did enough to win," said Daros.

14 May 2298 - Four Leafs Absorb 6-2 Loss at Slocum's Joe Seaside Stadium

Nordhagen Beach got a strong outing from Tommy Beach as the Party Boys defeated the Finch Farm Four Leafs, 6-2, at Slocum's Joe Seaside Stadium. Beach picked up the win for Nordhagen Beach, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 6-1. Nordhagen Beach leads the North Charles Association Brotherhood League by 2½ games.

In the bottom of the seventh, Nordhagen Beach shortstop Taboo Richardson had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Richardson stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 6-2, Nordhagen Beach. For the game, he was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Richardson said after the game.

14 May 2298 - Mirelurks Collect 6-2 Win Over Hancocks in 11

The Goodneighbor Hancocks got a superb performance from pitcher Quincy Eloquent, but the Warwick Mirelurks still won the game, 6-2. Eloquent threw 9 innings of 7-hit ball. Warwick reliever Pem Pollack picked up the win to move to 3-0. William Howard Chief suffered the loss. Warwick now sits at 14-15, while Goodneighbor falls to 21-8.

Melon Sanderson, the 27-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Sanderson contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to put Warwick up, 3-2.

"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Sanderson. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."

14 May 2298 - Ninjas Sneak By Dwellers, 3-2

The Egret Ninjas got a stellar effort from pitcher Gary Estate, helping Egret score a win over the visiting Vault 81 Dwellers, 3-2. Egret reliever Shawn Simms picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Josh Mustang was saddled with the loss. The Ninjas sit in third place in the South Charles Association Railroad League with a record of 14-15.

Crops Gerdenheimer, who is on pace for 86 RBI this season, chipped in for Egret with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

Estate told a Egret Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
