Linga Semi-Final Series
DIA vs LNN
FRE vs MAP
Like last year, the Dawala is the only franchise left from the Sun League. The reigning champions were opposed to the Nang Nius in the SFS. Despite being the better team in the regular season, the Diamonds were outclassed 4-1 and the Nang Nius will seek a 9th LBS win.
In the second SFS, the Freros swept the Maple Leaves to access their second consecutive LBS.
Linga Baseball Series
LNN vs FRE
Like in 1984 and 1985, the neighbor franchises from Lingalie City met in the final round of the playoffs. The Freros were the most dominant team lately with 5 LBS participations in the last 8 years. The Nang Nius' last participation was in 1992 for a loss. Like last year, the series was really fiercly disputed and went to Game 7. But in the end, it's the Freros that emerge victorious of this season's LBS ! They now have 6 championships, 2 shy away from their opponent in this year LBS.
