30 May 2298 - Tentsleep Collects Player of the Week Award
It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Lernz Tentsleep, the The Slog Ghouls 20-year-old shortstop, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for North Charles Association Player of the Week honors.
He ripped 9 hits in 20 at-bats, compiling a .450 average with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs.
In 40 games this season Tentsleep has compiled a .289 batting average with 46 hits and 14 home runs. He has also scored 27 times and knocked in 32 runs.
30 May 2298 - Week's Premier Performer Honored by SCA
Bryan Assman demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the South Charles Association Player of the Week Award.
The Goodneighbor first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .526 average (10-for-19) with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.
For the year Assman is batting .383 with 57 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 43 times and driven in 38.
30 May 2298 - Outpost Zimonja's Garbageman Gets CA Player of the Week
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Commonwealth Association, but last week Steve Garbageman of the Outpost Zimonja Strongbacks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Garbageman rocked opposing pitching for a .533 average (8-for-15), 2 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award.
So far this season Garbageman has gotten 52 hits in 121 at-bats for a .430 batting average with 3 home runs. His stats include 27 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has played in 28 games.

Jim Uglyhair burst onto the Massachusetts Association stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie right fielder for Natick Banks garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy.
The 20-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .467 (7-for-15) with 4 home runs and 11 RBIs last week.
In this current campaign Uglyhair is hitting at a .284 clip with 11 home runs and 31 RBIs.
