Calling back to a nearly-three-year-old conversation related to
this photo, here is a newspaper photo of Jiggs Parrott from 1891. It's better than the previous
woodcut as far as identification, though not nearly as clear as the 1890 team photo in question.
Referencing back to that photo (and I apologize if positive IDs have been made earlier and I missed it), rather than the player seated, I believe Jiggs, listed at 5'11", 160 lbs., with a heavy, flat brow, is the player standing, second from right, next to 5'7" Bill Whitrock far right. I also believe that John Cahill is seated on the ground, lower right.
