Game 1: Hershiser and the defense hold the Padres to 2 hits in 6 innings. John Valentin's 2 run double in the 7th inning tacks on to the 2 run lead.
Game 2: Hits are hard to come by with 10 total in the game. The last of which by Steve Beuchele drives in Tony Gwynn to win the game.
Game 3: Mark Langston goes the distance in a 3-0 win. Ricky Henderson's 7th inning double drives in 2 to allow some breathing room.
Cory Snyder was 6 for 10 in the series with 2 RBI and 2 BBs
Rickey Henderson was 5 for 11 2 with 2 RBI and 2 BBs
Dave Hollins was 4 for 12 with a home run.

Looking for another outfielder who can play CF we trade RP Dave Pyc to Florida for Rick Parker
Parker has experience at every non-battery position on the field. He's also an above average base runner. He's struggled this year with Miami (he was the 44th pick in the expansion draft) hitting just .252/.035/27 in 127 PA's. He had a 111 wRC+ in 163 AAA PA's. He'll be eligile for arbitration for the first time at the end of the season.
Dave Pyc, a 22 year old left-handed pitcher, spent time between AA and AAA this year. He had 80 FIP-'s at both levels.
