5 July 2298 - Lacy wins 2298 HR Challenge at Home Park
The 2298 Home Run Challenge featured some of the best sluggers in Commonwealth Baseball Organization, with Wayne Lacy representing the Diamond City Swatters the most prolific slugger of the night. He topped Dustin Mart in the final round by a score of 20-9.
"Tonight was a special night for me. It's such a good atmosphere," said Lacy. "I hope the fans enjoyed it as much as I did. This one is for Diamond City."

Tatoeater Dominates in 6-5 Win over South Charles Association All-Stars: The North Charles Association All-Stars reigned supreme tonight at The Great Green Jewel, with a 6-5 triumph over the South Charles Association All-Stars.
North Charles Association third baseman Peter Tatoeater (FF) led the way for the winning club, putting up a 1-for-3 mark to earn game MVP honors. That one hit was a two-run home run off Will Rope (JP) in the second inning. He walked once, scored twice, and knocked in two.
"We had some fun out there," he said. "We've got a great league and a great team and I'm not surprised we won."
LF Michael Fogcrawler (NB), C Stuart Costantino (QUI), and LF Good Don Duck (GOOD) all homered.
Lawdog Whipple (LEX) was credited with the win. Tiny Greene (SLOG) earned the save. Matt Udder (OBE) was the losing pitcher after allowing a three-run fourth inning.
Catcher Biter Trout (CC) and 3B Tutton Gatekeeper (WAR), and Costantino each had two hits.
