AL Game #2 – Toronto at Kansas City
This time both pitchers pitch 7 innings. Appier (and teammates) gives up 2 runs on the 9 hits they get against him. Todd Stottlemyer is charged with 4. Spike Owen was the offensive hero for the Royals. He went 3-4 and drove in the 3rd run for the Blue Jays.
