11 July 2298 - Tiller Chosen #1 Player in NCA
Jim Tiller has the tools to stick in this league for many years. The 20-year-old first baseman of the Fort Hagen Silver Shroud had a hot bat in the North Charles Association over the past seven days and won the Player of the Week honors.
Tiller batted .533 with 8 hits in 15 at-bats, 1 home run and 7 RBIs.
This season Tiller is batting .403 with 112 hits, 9 home runs, 51 RBIs, .427 OBP and has scored 46 runs.
11 July 2298 - SCA Player of the Week Goes to Duck of Goodneighbor
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the South Charles Association, but last week Good Don Duck of the Goodneighbor Hancocks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Duck rocked opposing pitching for a .588 average (10-for-17), 3 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award.
This year Duck has hit at a .376 pace and produced 45 RBIs, 9 home runs and scored 68 runs.
11 July 2298 - BMU: CA's Star Player Named
So far in his young career, Bubbles Fleeker has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Commonwealth Association in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 21-year-old Outpost Zimonja Strongbacks first baseman hit at a torrid .571 clip as he collected 8 hits in 14 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
11 July 2298 - BMU: Siltbean Wins MA Player of the Week Prize
At the age of 28, Jeff Siltbean might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Fiddler's Green left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .556 batting average. For his efforts Siltbean collected the Massachusetts Association Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 5 hits in 9 at-bats, 1 home run and 3 RBIs last week in 3 games.
Siltbean is hitting .331 this season with 6 home runs, 36 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 181 at-bats.
