24 July 2298 - BMU: College Square Closer Suspended Two Games by Team
College Square rookie closer Muther Eckstein has been suspended by the team for two games following playing hookie from a weekend practice.
Epstein returned to the team this morning with a handwritten excuse note in his handwriting that was signed "Eckstein's Mother." Nerd Ragers manager Jeremy Jenkins didn't buy it.
"We have suspended Muther Eckstein for the next two games due to missing practice," Jenkins said. "We are on a 10-game winning streak and currently in first place. We want to keep working hard to maintain that position, so all of our players need to know that we expect 100% every single day. Missing practice is 0%, not 100%."
Eckstein is 2-1 with 13 saves and a 4.28 ERA in 26 appearances.
