Walkers news: Crisp demoted to Memphis; McNaboe gets called up from Redbirds

After a third straight sub-par outing, the St. Louis River Walkers have sent right-handed starting pitcher Lenyn Crisp to AAA Memphis, and called up right-hander Jesse McNaboe.
Crisp, who went 4-1 after being moved into the rotation late in the 2030 season, just didn't have it this season going 2-1 with a 7.77 ERA in six starts.
The 23-year-old had allowed six homers in 24 innings, and posted a 1.93 WHIP.
He also had failed to get out of the fourth inning of his last three starts.
McNaboe, a 22-year-old right-hander taken in the second round of the 2027 draft, has gone 3-1 with a 2.30 ERA in six starts for the Redbirds.
This will be his third shot at the majors, the first two have not gone well.
In two starts, McNaboe is 0-1 with a 14.14 ERA.
