Well, sure, probably. If you can.
Depending upon the overall makeup and morale of your team it might be worth it just to get rid of the troublemaker and bring in the fragile pitcher if that is the best option you can find.
There are many other factors I would have to know to make any definitive decision and even then I would likely just go with my gut instinct.
