8 September 2298 - BMU: Natick Banks Takes League Championship in Deciding Game

Depending on your loyalties, the Massachusetts Association League Championship was either thrilling or heartbreaking.

The series went down to its final game, with the Natick Banks Big Leaguers and the Haymarket Mall Commandos giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Big Leaguers came out on top, winning 5-3 at Garden Terrace Field today to take the series 2-1.

"We're lucky to be going into the Boston Minor Series," said Natick Banks pitcher Oren Gep. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."

Gep earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .455 average, with 3 home runs, 6 RBI and 4 runs scored.

The Natick Banks Big Leaguers will play against the Galleria Robotics Experts in the next round. Galleria won their series against the College Square Nerd Ragers 2 games to 1. The Boston Minor Series schedule will be announced tomorrow.
