8 September 2298 - CBO Playoffs: All Teams in Action
Action continues today as we have four games on the schedule today.
First up is a 12:05 PM first pitch in the South Charles Association League Semifinal matchup of the #4 Diamond City Swatters at the #1 Goodneighbor Hancocks. Tim Fusion and Quincy Eloquent are scheduled to pitch for their respective teams in the matchup.
The second game begins at 3:05 PM with Game 2 of the Fort Hagen Silver Shroud at the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys. Brent Hooker and Tommy Beach will see the mound in that one with the Shroud up 1-0.
The third game is Game 1 of the #3 Warwick Mirelurks at the #2 Oberland T-51s in SCA action at 6:05 PM. John Diner and Sheng Kawolski will get the nods there.
The final game of the day is a 9:05 PM first pitch with the Easy Town Assaultrons up a game on the Abernathy Adamantium in Game 2 of that NCA League Semifinal series. Smoker Caliman and Brad Westing are starting in that one.

For those listening live, all games are televised on BNN networks and on radio stations DCR (Games 1 and 4 today), WRVR (Game 2), and Atom Cats Radio (Game 3). An all robot crew will be broadcasting the Easy Town-Abernathy game. The BNN games will be broadcast throughout the entirety of the game. Regional games will be broadcast in their entirety even if other games are not complete. Therefore, Northwest quadrant (Institute League region) and Northeast quadrant (Brotherhood League) settlers will be able to watch the first pitch of Fort Hagen-Nordhagen Beach and Easy Town-Abernathy from the first pitch to the last. The same goes for regional games in the Southwest (Railroad League) and Southeast (Minutemen League) quadrants for both the Diamond City-Goodneighbor and Warwick-Oberland games.
8 September 2298 - BMU: Natick Banks Takes League Championship in Deciding Game
Depending on your loyalties, the Massachusetts Association League Championship was either thrilling or heartbreaking.
The series went down to its final game, with the Natick Banks Big Leaguers and the Haymarket Mall Commandos giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Big Leaguers came out on top, winning 5-3 at Garden Terrace Field today to take the series 2-1.
"We're lucky to be going into the Boston Minor Series," said Natick Banks pitcher Oren Gep. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."
Gep earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .455 average, with 3 home runs, 6 RBI and 4 runs scored.
The Natick Banks Big Leaguers will play against the Galleria Robotics Experts in the next round. Galleria won their series against the College Square Nerd Ragers 2 games to 1. The Boston Minor Series schedule will be announced tomorrow.
