SJL:
Jim Norris is a 2-time SJL Pitcher of the Year (1976-1977) and he's off to a pretty good start as he tries to build a case for another and to help take his team back to the top of the SJL standings (where in fact they do currently sit.) Some of his strongest competition for the award will likely come from rotation mates Jay Crosby and Luis Ramirez (last year's award recipient.)
MGL:
Hector Hard, a 35-year old Cuban left-hander who pitched for the Denver Brewers for parts of two seasons, has always been considered a talented hurler but he struggles to stay healthy. He's certainly looked healthy thus far this season, with his only loss coming in his last start of April against his former Brewers teammates.
