2 March 2299 - 2nd Day of Exhibitions Highlighted with One NWL Win
The CBO vs NWL exhibitions went most as planned except for the Quartz Star Force defeating the Atom Cats in 10 innings, 7-6. In other action, there were two more shutouts, led by the Lexington Synths winning 10-0 on a one-hitter by pitcher Tristan Marble. Jamaica Plain shut out Quantum again, 12-0, on a three-hitter by Will Rope.
For the second straight day, Roxbury won 12-3 over the Wild Gatorclaws. Travis Phillips was 3 for 4 with a home run, a run, and six RBI. The Gatorclaws' Lackey Parkman was 4 for 5 with a double.
County Crossing needed a late rally from a 4-1 deficit to win 5-4. Tattoo Woolf hit two home runs, including the game-tying homer in the bottom of the 8th.
