Walkers news: Oct. 26 -- Barbosa agrees to one-year extension
The St. Louis River Walkers have signed right-handed closer Ernesto Barbosa to a one-year extension worth $9,210,00.
Barbosa had used an opt on in his contract to gain free agency.
The Walkers, however, decided not to get into a bidding war and keep a reliever who has been on the best in the game for the past two seasons.
