7 April 2299 - Four Leafs Suffer 8-6 Loss to Fort Hagen

Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Fort Hagen Silver Shroud take on the Finch Farm Four Leafs.

The Fort Hagen Silver Shroud bested the Finch Farm Four Leafs by a score of 8-6, with center fielder Ben Pawlak getting the main credit. On the day, Pawlak was 2-3 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs for the Silver Shroud. The Silver Shroud, now 3-1, have been playing some good baseball.

The Silver Shroud got an important contribution from third baseman Micah Morals, who in the bottom of the second hit a first pitch splitter into left for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Silver Shroud ahead, 4-0.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Morals told the Fort Hagen Gazette.

7 April 2299 - Party Boys Upend Adamantium, 7-3

A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys and Abernathy Adamantium.

Clevinger threw 6 innings allowing 5 runs for the losing team. Night Demon Archacki recorded the save for Nordhagen Beach, his 2nd of the season.

Nordhagen Beach used the timely hitting of Jon Hitman to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Party Boys on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Hitman called the win "a lesson in teamwork."

The victory makes Nordhagen Beach 2-2.
