Regarding the 1951 Cubs player, can you tell us something about the photo? What makes you conclude that it's from 1951? Is it possible that this is a player from the Cubs' spring camp in 1951 rather than from the regular season? Are there any markings on the back of the photo that would be helpful? I've looked at the Cubs' section of Mark Okkonen's photo book on the decade of the Fifties, and I don't see a match with the players he displays with the 1951 Cubs. I'm willing to do more research on this if you give me more details as a starting baseline.
