Missed the playoffs by 3 games after making it 3 season in a row for the first time. Of course the team that went 130-32 and kept me out of the playoffs because I only went 4-16 against them loses in the first round 3-1. Rough division this year, and the league was strong all around too. My team totally blew it down the stretch though, only went 2-7 in the last 9 games and that was with the easiest end of season schedule of all the wild card hopefuls.
Interestingly, despite the cutthroat competition Stan Coveleski still finished the year with the league ERA crown, which hasn't happened for oh, 3 or 4 decades. A weird year for my team.
