It's deja vu all over again in the AL as the Rays will face the Rangers for the second straight year in the ALCS after the Rangers completed their series win over the Tigers tonight. Wander Franco had a monster game, going 4-5 with a HR and 3 RBI and after last year's sweep at the hands of the Rays he and his teammates will be eager for revenge. Jacob Gonzalez was named series MVP for Texas.

Also, congrats to Chris Sharp:

I'm sure he'd rather be on an MLB bench than MVP of the International League, and as I've chronicled at length before he deserves a shot somewhere. It probably won't be here with Joe Barker and Rodolfo Rivas around, though.
