Martin Brodeur stopped all 22 shots he faced and Charlotte scored three times in the second period on Bill Ranford to even the Eastern Conference semifinal at a game apiece. Jordan Staal, Drew Doughty and Matt Cullen each scored in the second and Dave Taylor made it a 5-0 drubbing with a last second goal - literally - that the Hitmen surely won't forget when they take the ice for Game 3.
