Some recognizable retirements, some recognizable non-vested contracts are becoming free agents, and GM and Manager firings on the fist day of the off-season. A complete list of the days carnage to follow below.
Bob Feller has retired from the Indians and the ball club has retired his Jersey #19.
Eddie Stanky was fired as manager of the Cardinals.
Teams continue to sort through their personnel and hirings could occur along those lines quickly. Rumors are circulating that additional firings could also be on the horizon.
