A number of teams are taking care of new contracts for players under their control. Remember in my new financial world arbitration for players does not begin until after 8 years of service time has been accumulated and free agency does not occur until after 11 years of service time has been accumulated.

There are a few long term deals being signed in the list below and their AAV are in line with my financial settings.

The largest contract for 1954 was Stan Musial at $120,000 - but he is now eligible to become a free agent.
