JR Richard 1979, Hardware Heros stats:
123 stuff, 74 movement, 57 control, 91 fastball, 111 slider, 93 changeup
96 stamina, 69 hold runners with 94-96 mph velocity and neutral fb/gb.
He walks surprisingly few people despite the low control, but it seems to affect how many hits he gives up. The really baffling thing to me is I ran Bob Veale special edition in my bullpen with his 44 control for ages, and even with his 7-8 walks per 9, he did better than Mr. Richard has done thus far. I guess ground ball pitchers are just better if control is low.
