Walkers news: June 15 -- St. Louis 4, Quad City 3

Rookie Jerry Tate allowed one run over 5.1 innings to earn his sixth straight win, as St. Louis downed Quad City 4-3 at Busch Stadium (1997).
Tate (6-1), who has won all of his starts since dropping his first outing after being called up from Memphis, allowed one run on seven hits in his time on the mound.
He exited after allowing a one-out homer to Gabriel Hagan in the sixth which made it 4-1.
Ricky Cisneros ended the inning with two straight outs.
Cisneroes returrned to pitch a scoreless seventh.
Josh Forgy and closer Ernesto Barbosa followed suit in the eighth and ninth.
Barbosa now has 17 saves.
The Walkers' runs came from consecutive two-run innings in the third and fourth.
Both were powered by the long ball.
Daniel Becerra hit a two-run homer off Thunder starting pitcher Connor Seabold in the third.
Rookie Nick Shaw took Seabold deep for a two-run job in the fourth.
