22 May 2299 - Prynne Wins CA Player of the Week
His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Heston Prynne was rewarded with the Commonwealth Association Player of the Week honors.
The scrappy Breakheart Banks Behemoths center fielder hit .714 while collecting 10 hits in 14 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs.
This season Prynne has hit at a .280 clip with 9 RBIs, 4 home runs and 14 runs scored. He has played in 19 games.

So far in his young career, Danny Vertibird has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Massachusetts Association in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 20-year-old Trinity Plaza Snipers third baseman hit at a torrid .625 clip as he collected 10 hits in 16 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
Vertibird is currently hitting at a .389 pace with 6 home runs and 25 RBIs.

For the first time, the Mystic Pines Raybathers are not #1 as the hotter Eastlake Aquaboys take that spot. The Raybathers did not lose their first game of the season until May 11, their 16th game. Now, after dropping the last three to the C.I.T. Ruins Refractors, have won just one of their last five to drop to 17-4.
The Aquaboys have the same record after sweeping Naticks Banks to improve their winning streak to nine straight. Eastlake, the FHE Yao Guai minor league team, have a lot of talent, especially in the infield with top SS prospect Jayden Neo (.352/2/13), to 3B prospect John Yaoguai (.290/0/10), and 4th-best 2B prospect Allen Burmaster (.211/0/3). LF Adam Crook (.321/3/18) has been hitting well from the cleanup spot. Ace Josh Calvit (2-0, 2.55) has been effective. Eastlake has hit well and has good pitching, but they are not dominant in runs (111, 4th in Massachusetts Association) and runs allowed (84, 3rd in MA).
