I managed to complete the peak Rube Waddell and the Sherry MaGee special edition missions. Waddell in time for the playoffs where he didn’t do much, MaGee was after. Should be able to finish off peak Rich Gossage within a couple of weeks, and then I can bench Kazuhiro Sasaki. Then my bullpen will be essentially complete. Starting 5 is currently Rube Waddell/Stan Coveleski/Vida Blue/Jon Matlack/Dwight Gooden. Then I just need a few more postion player upgrades (probably 2nd base and centerfield), and maybe I can win a perfect league before the end.
I’m amazed at how much better my team got in 2 months. My bullpen went from a perpetual weakness to quite strong. Starting end of the rotation is much, much better. I felt like I barely improved the 6 months before that.

Nice upgrades. Magee is quality, a guy who'll produce against LHP and RHP. His OPS+ across 6 1/2 seasons starting vs LHP and depth starter vs RHP was 130 (averaging about 275 PA per season). I've considered bringing him back to DH against LHP but the raw ratings of SE Dick Allen vs LHP just pull me back every time (though his OPS+ is only 119 over 5 seasons, avg 240 PA per season). Haven't got Waddell (and don't see him around that much) so don't have an opinion on him.
The 'Glou won their 5th title. We beat 8-time champs St George Slammers in the Division Series, 20-time champs Jersey Revolutionize in the League Championship, and 5-time champs (who also scored 1069 regular season runs) Valinor Eagles in the World Series.
No great upgrades to report. The mission cards I'm after keep eluding me, and I haven't had any great pulls to report over the last couple weeks. I guess I'm kinda at the stage where I'm content with my team, and there are only a few players I feel will improve it.
