Other than the Washington Senators being No Hit by Klippstein of the Athletics, the Pennant Races are heating up. Over in the National League, the Cubs saw their lead dwindle
to 3 games over the Dodgers. Chicago saw a 12-18 record after a 20-10 July. Brooklyn made up 7 games in the standings. But in the American League, the New York Yankees has
maintained their lead over the Browns. Washington and Pittsburgh are still in the running.
