FAR MOUNTAIN SWEEPS MARSTON IN RU, ADVANCES TO PRO CUP SERIES FOR FIRST TIME IN 3 DECADES
Renowned for being the only team in Islandian Pro Alliance history to garner three Pro Cup trophies in a row, the Far Mountain Redhawks will get another opportunity to add another IPA title for the first time in three decades... the Redhawks three-peated in 2011, 2012 and 2013... the last time they reached the Pro Cup Finals was in 2038 when they lost to the North Hills Hawks.
This year Far Mountain is on a red-hot roll... they are on a 7-game winning streak in the postseason... they had to came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat Sligo in round one... and now they have swept the Marston Nine in round two... the Redhawks eliminated the Nine in four games, taking the deciding game 7-6... their opponent will be the Tycobbian Union champion, either San Alejo or Rolling Hills.
San Alejo took a major step toward the TU title by blasting the Racers 10-5 in game four... the Montaneros are now in charge with a big 3-1 edge in the best-of-seven series.
