29 May 2299 - Nordhagen Beach Activates Jones, Puts Shed on IL
The Nordhagen Beach got to see star RF Tomas Jones play yesterday, going 1 for 4 with a double, walk, a run, and an RBI in his return to the lineup over rookie Jonathan Angelou.
Jones has been part of the trade rumor mill where the Boys could improve other positions, like shortstop or solidify its pitching staff.
The Boys also called up Pointie Shroud from Greentop Nursery and started him over Taboo Richardson at shortstop on Sunday. Shroud was 1 for 3 with a walk and two runs.
Nordhagen Beach also placed pitcher Julian Shed on the 7-day injury list after he suffered a strained back in his start on Saturday. He is expected to miss one or two starts. Aaron Demps will act as a starter in Shed's absence.
