It's the major deal that has everyone talking. The Nordhagen Beach Party Boys and University Point Deathclaws have reached an agreement. The Party Boys will swap 22-year-old RF Tomas Jones and a 5th round draft pick for 33-year-old RHP Tom Mannequin, 19-year-old RHP David Kidd, 20-year-old minor league CF Ralph DeYoe, 19-year-old minor league LHP Chris Essary and a 2nd round draft pick."
Obviously, there's some emotion here, as Jones has been a part of the Party from Day 1, but it's a trade that had to happen, I feel. His injury and - especially - the arrival of Jonathan Angelou make this a good deal for the Boys. Obviously, I wish him well, but not when he's playing against NB - I don't want to find myself referring to him as Tomas Effing Jones!!
