"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Starlight manager Eric Bendure.

He allowed no runs on 5 hits, with 4 walks and 5 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work. Nordhagen Beach has 3 straight wins with the sweep, Easy Town 4 straight losses.
Nordhagen Beach took a 4-0 lead on Hitman's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Ray Housecat in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Nordhagen Beach to the win.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Hitman.
Leading 1-0 heading into the second-to-last inning, the Boys decided to get busy with their bats. Rookie sensation Jonathan Angelou led off the inning with a single and stole second. After Housecat intentionally walked Dustin Mart, Hitman hit his home run to make the score 4-0.
Geoff Obstinant then came on for the Assaultrons but could do no better. C3-88 Puppetboy walked. Pointie Shroud hit a two-out single after a flyout.
