NCAA: The Montana Grizzlies defeated the Oregon State Beavers in the NCAA final by a score of 7-2, completing the ever-elusive back-to-back NCAA Title. Montana’s 1B Nick Corbin was named PoTG after coming through with a 2 for 5 day that included 2 homers, 4 RBIs, and 2 runs.
1976 NCAA Final Four: Oregon State Beavers defeated the Western Washington Vikings by a score of 8-1; Montana Grizzlies defeated the Whitworth University Pirates by a score of 10-6.

Top Pitcher: SP Bobby Cloutier, Edmonds College Tritons Cloutier compiled a 7-3 record in 12 starts, tallied 170 strikeouts in 100 innings and recorded a 1.62 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .185 batting average against him.
