I just tried it. When you reload the "Historical Exhibition" from the OOTP start screen, you'll want to choose "no" when you're presented with a "yes or no" popup message. You'll see the regular OOTP options, though it may look strange because it's a two-team league. Go to the Playoff Coverage option in the League menu. This will take you to the familiar Playoff screen.
