14 June 2299 - BMU: 5-Hit Barrage by Petersen

There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Tesla Petersen is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Postal Square Action Boys at Poseidon Park today. The monster effort from the 27-year-old second baseman helped the Natick Banks Big Leaguers take the win, 6-4.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Action Boys manager Juice Becker. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Tesla Petersen hit a solo-shot off Colt Finley in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 8th.

During the current season Petersen is batting at a .330 clip with 1 home run and 13 RBIs. He has played in 27 games and scored 11 times.

Vault 81's current losing streak is now 4 games.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Atom trailing 5-4, Machine hit a fastball from Dave Caveman (1-3) for a grand slam home run, giving the Cats the walk-off win.

"This wasn't a good win," said Machine. "It was a great win."
