The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the FHE Yao Guai: starting pitcher W. H. Lub is out for the year. Lub suffered a torn labrum on 07/02/2299. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official.
In 17 starts this season, Lub has recorded 5 wins and absorbed 8 losses. He has pitched 88.1 innings, allowed 102 hits, struck out 60 and has a 4.79 ERA.

Egret and Jamaica Plain have swapped players. The Ninjas announced today that they have sent 29-year-old RHP Troy Phillabum to the Red Rockets in exchange for 21-year-old minor league LHP Batface Landry.

Sunshine Tidings general manager Bobby Blonde would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league.
Michelsen has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 16 strikeouts and 6 walks in 24.1 innings while registering a 5.55 ERA and a 0-2 won-lost record.

Vault 81 and Starlight have swapped players. The Dwellers announced today that they have sent 33-year-old RHP Front Porch Potter to the Lady Killers in exchange for 20-year-old minor league 3B Bobb County.
This year Potter has no saves in 12 relief appearances with a 0-1 record and 5.56 ERA. The former 1st-round pick in the 2296 Inaugural Draft is now joining his fifth team via trades. Before joining the Dwellers, he was a starting pitcher and probably hopes to renew that role at the Drive-In.
