Just grabbed the OOTP22 beta, and will be playing the 2021 Tampa Bay Rays season out here. This of course is separate and apart from my long-running Rays dynasty, currently in 2031. I will transfer that over to OOTP22 during the 2031-32 offseason as well. The plan is to just play out the 2021 season as I don't have the time or inclination to play out multiple dynasties in the manner I've done the main one (edit: HA!). Nevertheless I'm going to treat my play-out of the season as if I was going to continue to keep playing so I'm not going to act as if there's no tomorrow and, say, trade Wander Franco and Vidal Brujan etc. so I can build a mega-team to try to win it all this year.

I'm not going to get into roster configuration, etc. as this is in beta which means the 40-man isn't filled out, but the 26-man roster which came with the game looks pretty realistic (although it isn't accounting for the current Ji-Man Choi injury, so I just held him out of the opening day lineup). I'm not going to try to parallel what the real team does in terms of moves, etc. - once the season starts we're in our own parallel universe.

NOTE (5/29): The "only 2021" part turned out to be a lie, I felt compelled to keep going into 2022 and I'll probably keep going beyond.
