1. It looks like many prospects with any playtime last year whatsoever have lost their rookie status for this year, which means guys like Joey Bart and Ian Anderson are not ROTY eligible. It also means that the actual rankings of the farm systems are a bit weird, like the Rays only being the fifth-best.
2. Building off of this, only Matt Manning and McKenzie Gore have potential ratings of 60 or over for pitching prospects. Between that and some of the ratings given to the 2021 Draft class and beyond, it looks like the top end of pitching prospect rankings has been somewhat neutered.
