I am using a 2019 MacBook Pro that has worked very well for past versions (had MacBooks prior to this one as well).
Any suggestions/help anyone can give?

We looked into this a bit more and found that it seems to be related to using Mac OS 10 in most cases.
Several folks reported than when upgrading from Mac OS 10 to Mac OS 11, that fixed similar issues. We'll actually be changing the minimum requirements to list Mac OS 11 to reflect this going forward due to this.
So if you are on Mac OS 10 now and it's possible to upgrade, we'd recommend you do that. If that's not possible for some reason, you can open a support ticket and let the support guys try to work through some additional troubleshooting that might help things or we can also do a refund, worst case scenario.
Or alternately, if you're not on Mac OS 10 but a later version, do let us know exactly which version you're on.
