Got a gold 82 Mike Kreevich historical card and a 3 Silver historical - Gino Petralli, Jay Payton, and an old timey reliever named Chad Kimsey.

And that's Annandale out of the gate!

So two questions to you raging baseball fans:

1. Regarding tournaments, how do you guys manage it with multiple PT teams? Say you're running 2 or 3 PT teams. Do you have each team enter 1 tournament at a time? I feel like if I do that I will be forever between wins. Or maybe I'm just bad at creating tourney teams.

Also, though I like Perfect Draft in theory, the actual drafts I've participated in have been a little frustrating. Or maybe I'm also just bad at that!

2. What do you think an effective strategy is for a team just starting OL now? I can think of three general strategies. Packs always seem super hit-or-miss (with me mostly missing), but the chance to hit a big one is there. Buying good players works to improve your team but it's super slow and to me it feels like you will get only so far since your PP generation has a definite upper cap. Completing collections may be the way to go but you end up with a team full of SEs that everyone else has and then you're stuck at whatever level that is. Or is there another strategy that I'm forgetting?

With just starting out a few hours ago, I am going with a different PT22 strategy. I am sitting on every card I get, for now and I am not buying anything in the AH, for now. Past years, I sold off every Live card I received to generate PP to use in the AH.

This will be the first time ever in PT (19,20,21) that Drops are available at the very start of the PT season so I will hope that I can get some usable cards from watching the shows. It will of course be harder this year with drops since due to Twitch policy, we will only be allowed 5 drop packs a day, which will make it harder on me, with my new approach however, I am willing to ride it out, even if it takes me a few weeks to become OL compliant.

Also, a new approach for me in PT22 is that I am saving up my PP so I can use it to purchase Historical Packs, when they become available (I have never done it this way before).

This way I know that I will be receiving hopefully 6 usable cards from a single pack. I don't have those odds with any of the other packs, so that is why I decided to just focus on the Historical Packs and not buy other packs or acquire players from the AH.

My first Perfect Draft is still playing out however, it was stressful, as if I was running short on time in a college final exam! I never knew that 20 minutes could ever go so quickly!

I was disappointed with that batches of cards I had to choose from, as a whole, especially the last set where you are required to select 5 as they were all "ride the bench" quality players cards, and basically no use for my team.

As for running tournaments, I have always just fielded one team, as that is all I have the time and patience for.
