2 August 2299 - Star Force Sweep Cherry in Nuka Series
The Quartz Star Force rolled over the Cherry Ghoulrillas 13-3 at Grandchester Mystery Mansion Park to easily win the 2299 Nuka Series crown.
Quartz won in a walk and swept the series from the Ghoulrillas 4-0. It was their 1st championship title.
Winning manager Nick Caudill praised his own club as well as the opposition, calling the Ghoulrillas "a fine team."
"It wasn't as easy as it looked. We had to play good baseball to beat them," he said. "We always seemed to come up with the key hit at the right time and to make the plays on defense when we had to. That's how you win the Nuka Series."
The Star Force took first place in the and rounded out the year with a 49-35 record.
