The Deed is Done
Jobu was not particularly beneficent, but given the sorry state of the current roster, improvement was inevitable. I got a little excited when the first pack revealed two bronze OL players and four altogether, but the momentum was short lived. The next 22 packs were not terrible, but neither were they earth shaking. Got a live diamond and two live golds to sell, with the top OL cards being four silvers, two of which were 1963 Ellis Burton. On the bright side, however, was the re-tooling of the all-iron rotation, which is now 4/5 bronze. Besides the aforementioned Burton, I also pulled a silver Darnell Coles for the outfield and a hard throwing Jim Hughes silver for the bullpen. With 25,000 in the bank and another 8,000 in sales likely, things are looking up. Now I'm off to find my graphic of my Jobu altar to update it for PT22 and display before the next big pull. I'm pretty sure that when I deployed it for the first time last year, I pulled my first 100.
