I'd like to see the ability for GMs and managers to engage in some kind of dialogue for some decisions as to who should be playing and where. Sometimes, as a GM, you trade to improve a certain position only for the manager to ignore your acquisition in favor of the incumbent. Another area that could be improved is the issue of morale and how it affects a team. In Football Manager it can have devastating effects and force you into making difficult decisions as to who plays, etc.
