Not sure if Shane McClanahan is the answer right now (I know, one start, small sample size) so we picked up the veteran Alex Wood at little cost. Tyler Frank is kind of a utility-type whose best position is 1B but he doesn't have a lot of power. The Giants are also retaining 50% of Wood's contract so it will cost us $1.1M, leaving us with about $10M to play with. Wood's numbers aren't eye-popping but he does have an excellent 10/43 BB/K ratio in 44 innings, the big problem is that he's allowed 10 homers and he's rated at 45 movement. The Trop should help some of that but the other AL East parks won't.
