Ramos Chosen #1 Player
It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Brightsun Ramos, the Sunshine Tidings Chemists 20-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for North Charles Association Player of the Week honors.
He ripped 11 hits in 18 at-bats, compiling a .611 average with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs.
Ramos is presently hitting at a .361 pace with 24 home runs, 76 RBIs and has scored 71 times.
Gep Week's Top Player
So far in his young career, Oren Gep has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the South Charles Association in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 21-year-old Diamond City Swatters first baseman hit at a torrid .583 clip as he collected 14 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
This year Gep is hitting .280, produced 93 RBIs and 23 home runs, scored 55 times and gotten on base at a .352 rate.
