Tiller Sticks it to NCA Pitchers
One of the league's most exciting young players, Jim Tiller of the Fort Hagen Silver Shroud earned himself North Charles Association Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games.
For the week the 21-year-old first baseman had a lofty .591 average (13-for-22), collecting 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
This year Tiller is batting .375 with 21 home runs and 79 RBIs.
Star of the Week Honored in SCA
It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Tomas Jones, the University Point Deathclaws 22-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for South Charles Association Player of the Week honors.
He ripped 11 hits in 22 at-bats, compiling a .500 average with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs.
For the year Jones is hitting .314 with 15 home runs. His stats include 53 RBI and 48 runs scored.
