It is a theme team based on players who played for the four New York teams. The team is two roster spots away from being OL compliant but will not be theme compliant. The teams name comes from the Sugar Hill neighborhood in the Bronx which is just south of Coogans Bluff where the Polo Grounds was located.

Hearing Sugar Hill brings back memories of listening to Art Rust Jr. and his various sports shows on the radio. He always talked about his growing up in Sugar Hill. I also remember Jack Spector doing sports on WMCA, the first station to go all talk. About once a week, Spector used to play nicknames. No prizes or anything, just folks calling up and chipping with old baseball nicknames. Rust also wrote a few fine books, including one on the Negro Leagues called, "Get that (N-word) Off the Field." The title came from a quote from the lips of Adrian "Cap" Anson, who refused to play against a team with a black player. Always disliked Anson since then and would not use him in Strat-O-Matic back in the day or in PT now.
