I have the Sugar Hill team listed as playing at the Polo Grounds, I think I may change it to the Big Ball Orchard in the Bronx- that is what Art Rust called Yankee Stadium.
I heard many references to the book and looked to purchase it a long time ago. It wasn't easy to find then, except in first editions that were more than I wanted to pay. I may look into it again for some summer reading.

Slight correction: Big ball orchard the South Bronx. I don't know if your remember the WMCA switch from the Top 40 Good Guys, but if you do, can you guess who was the last Good Guy? That is, the final one hired as a good guy, who was still there when they made the switch over.
