Thanks for the compliment. I think the ebbs and flows of my own busy times at work/life have affected how I approach this dynasty. I don't want to run into a time when I have no time to do anything at all, but there are times when I have a bottleneck of not having enough time to write out portions (like weekly analysis) where I cannot progress based on trying to keep each season as uniform as possible. Season 1 was definitely time-consuming with typing out the weekly "Confidence Man" and the Charles River Trio portions. I knew early on that I could not maintain those, so those characters are now definitely in the background. They were fun, though, especially the Charles River Trio since they seemed to be baseball ignorant but trying to apply their radio drama mentalities to the sport. Maybe they will get a feature or two during the playoffs.
I believe I will slow this offseason down quite a bit to get out a few more of my "quests" for this dynasty. There are stories I introduced but never followed up on, so there needs to be some closure to those. Currently, my goals are to finish the 2299 playoffs hopefully by the end of April. The rest of this month is busy for me, but I believe I can sneak in at least a day's worth of playoffs each actual day as part of my daily routine.
After April, my schedule clears up some in early May and a lot in mid-May through early August, so I can devote time to build on some of the non-baseball storylines I have begun.
Brainstorming here:
1. "A Hubflower for Magnolia" - about 13-15 more chapters to complete that storyline--I sketched them out with what will happen but have yet to fully write out all chapters.
2. Nate's trip: *Title redacted*
3. A visit to Far Harbor for Nat Wright-Kawolski, including an interview with Keith McKinney about his old movie, "Swing for the Fence."
4. The Outpost Zimonja attacks: "The Hive"
5. The Grandchester Mystery Mansion story series: "I Love Lucy"
6. The Easy Town Murders, featuring Nick Valentine in 2299-2300: "Life Ain't So Easy"
7. The introduction of a few old friends: *Title redacted*
8. More Mysterious Stranger connections: various, overlapping
Holy hell! I have a lot of unfinished business!
