Right-handed pitcher Zack Hunsicker has a team option on his contract for the 2033 season.
After going 12-8 with a 3.86 ERA, the Walkers will use that option which will pay him $8 million for the 2033 season.
Shortstop Jean Carmona has decided to opt out of the final season of his five-year contract and test free agency.
The five-time Gold Glove winner, and likely to be six, was to be paid $22.5 million in the 2033 season.
The Walkers would like to re-sign Carmona to remain with the team.
