Tonight is the second game in the season-opening series in Texas between the Rangers and the Kansas City Royals. The Royals doubled up the Rangers in the season opener.

In the bottom of the ninth, with a runner on first and one out, pinch hitter Don Mincher grounded into the game-ending 4-6-3.

The Royals got 12 hits in the win.
